He’s creating hand-drawn interpretations of the gods of twelve different types of tasty goodness, which will be released as print sets. Check out the video below and support the project right here.
If you’re reading this in a feed, catch the video on the project page at Kickstarter.
At it once again, dust is stompin’ in 2014 with a ridiculously detailed and custom sculpted MAD*L. It’s always nice to see freshness, and even nicer when it’s one member of your fam building upon what another member of your fam has done. dust. MAD. Righteous.
And while you’re at it, hit up dust’s page here on freshism to pick up some of his brand new tees.
After spending quite a lot of time with dust and his cohorts in Germany, it’s about time we drop some new gear with our fam from over yonder.
Today’s releases include two iconic designs from the man: “Trust in Dust” features his hand-styled mantra that everyone should rep, and “RAS Crew” features three of his original characters ready to throw down.
Both of these shirts are available in Build Your Own custom colors for men, women, and kids. No matter who you are, we’ve got you covered. Get yours right here.
A bangin’ new gallery show opens on 5 March 2014 at Urban Art Gallery in Stuttgart, Germany. It features work by a ton of talented folk, including favorites like dust, Dome, 123Klan, VISEone, STF Moscato, and more.
You are looking at selection of shots from our trip to Paris in 2009. We flew the friendly skies over yonder with DJMP and met up with Swedish Jason, who took the trip down south from Stockholm to gallivant around the City of Light with us for a few days.
Our goal was simple: To hang out, enjoy friends, explore the city, hit some shops, hunt down some street art, and eat/drink. Because why not. We also met up with our friend Benoît for a nice birthday dinner, properly shutting down an Algerian restaurant after-hours to enjoy the feast and the company.
As you may or may not know, we travel a lot. A whole lot. Way more than most people including those who show off their airport photos and boarding passes on Instagram like it’s going out of style.
We chose this life for a multitude of reasons. We worked our asses off to have this life. We still work our asses off to have this life. Part of it for work, part of it for enjoyment.
The beauty of being on the road all the time is that it inspires us to create new digs for all y’all who are fans of our wares. It also allows us to meet new artists and collaborate on projects that might otherwise be unavailable to us.
The sights, the street art, the smells, the food, the architecture, the fact that a place or a thing exists. All of this is what moves us, in work and in play.
One of the things we wanted to do when we evolved into freshism was to share those experiences and hopefully meet even more of you along the way.
Part of that involves more blogging and more integration between what we do at freshism and how we live our life, since it’s integral to everything we do.
While we have plenty of current events to write about, I also wanted to take the opportunity to look back at some of the places we’ve been, the things we’ve seen, and the people whose company we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. As long as it is related to our inspiration, our gear, artistic endeavors, etc.
If you want to guest blog about your own journeys – as long as they have something to do with what we’re all about at freshism – just hit us up and we’ll make things happen. Enjoy!
Ever been to Paris? If so, what were your experiences in the capital city? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
Yes indeed. We’ve known this guy for a long while now, and it’s about time that we rock some new gear out with this multi-faceted artist.
The mind of Beery. The man of many talents brings his insane painting and illustration style to his first two releases with us, and we’re proud to present you with “Archrival” and “Warpath.”
Two designs, many styles. You can grab these in four colors each. As always, they can be had in short- and long-sleeve versions for men, women, and kids. Get yours right here in the shop.
The good lady over at Hola Yessica has a new video up featuring work about work by Clet Abraham on the streets of Barcelona. While the video is a bit cheeky for those of us involved in this type of thing, it’s still a nice, upbeat story about his work and it gives others an insight into things they may have never noticed before.
In case you haven’t been paying attention, we pared down our mailing list in a massive manner as soon as freshism opened. We got rid of all the inactive and lazy users to end up with a more highly-curated list.
A ton of you signed up for our list when freshism was still under construction, and we greatly appreciate your support.
However, when looking at mailer stats, I noticed that the ratio of recipients to opens is extremely poor. What’s the point of being on a list if you’re not opening the mail, and what’s the point of us sending it to you?
It’s because the mailer went to his “Promotions” folder in Gmail. This is automatic for mailing lists, and it seems few people ever even notice it. With this nerd-shit in mind, I asked a few of the mailing services if they have any control over this, or what you guys can do about it.
Aweber are the first folks who got back to me, and while they said they can’t control where your mailer drops, you can check it and fix it yourself. You just need to find our (or anyone else’s) mailer in your “Promotions” folder, and drag it to your inbox or wherever you want to actually see it. From then on, the emails will go to a box you actually check and read.
But hey…If you did sign up and you don’t want the mailer, then don’t make us waste time. Just unsubscribe, sucka! You’ll then of course miss out on all the new gear, exclusives, coupons, updates, and other fun shit.
If you’re not on the list, get on it right here.
Nerd-talk time over. Have a great weekend, y’all.
